I am so in the same boat. I already don't watch news on TV. I try to filter that by reading news on the internet, but still some titles cannot be avoided. Also every morning during my commute, I can't help it when almost everyone around me is holding a newspaper in the tube and the front page titles are all up in my face. I've been thinking what if there's (are) a newspaper/website/blog with only happy news on it? |

When you listen to news, don't let it affect you. Separate yourself from what comes on the news. If you find it hard, then limit the time that you spend on watching the news. Set a time daily to go to personal development sites or spend 20 a day reading something optimistic and uplifting. |
