 |  Saying YES to everything!
I saw about 20 min of the film Yes man last night with Jim Carrey and Ive decided to give it try Say YES to everything  , for 10 days- lets see what happens(Well, almost everything. In the film he really says Yes to everything- but I wont go that far.  )It was an interesting day. The guy at the juice bar suggested I try the new 7$ raw granola bar- usually would have said no, but saved me later b/c I was too busy to eat all day. Then I came to work and as usual my mailbox was full of all kinds of opportunities. Which i usually delete without reading because I get so many. Well, today I actually read them and acted on them (unless they were spam) I applied to screen my film at a festival in france I wrote a whole proposal for a memorial sculpture I registered to a free workshop on art and finances I agreed to have another film screened at another festival and signed up to win a free jetblue flight. I approved 10 pending friends on facebook I joined 10 facebook groups I wrote an email to a distributor in Europe as a friend suggested I said yes to dinner on friday at my place and said yes to see a film tomorrow- (but I got another offer for a friends reading tomorrow too- still dont know what to do..  ) so this is how I feel now:  But I feel good! I will try this soon have some interferences right now(working on saying no to certain people for certain things lol), but it is definitely on the list...as is that book This is completely amazing And to all you doing the trial, I say: Will you kiss someone today or tomorrow--anyone, just kiss someone P.S. When I do this, I think I will make it a 30 day trial but that requires me to move some things out of the way, both mentally, physically and relationship-wise |
