Default I didn't quit PD after 2 years!...

I took my first PD seminar back in college in '85 due to pressure from my then GF. Then around '91 I took the same seminar over again and then the two programs which Context Associated followed it with. Those three programs had a huge impact on my life over the next decade.

A couple of years ago, I felt it was time to do some more PD work after all those years away from it, so I took a couple of courses over 6 months. Then last Fall I saw The Secret after resisting it for a few months. The value for me in the movie is the EGS. Hey, you can spend your time dwelling on either negative or positive thoughts, so why not go with the latter? I believe that action plus a positive "can do" attitude is a killer combination.

Some people watch TV; others take courses.

Whatever makes you happy.

I like that.

There are probably a lot of people here that are trying to reduce TV watching time based on some of Steve's articles, and that's an excellent philosophy to have .

I am grateful for finding "The Success Principles" from Jack Canfield a little over 1 year ago. It was the first PD book I had ever touched!

It completely chaged my way of looking at life. Since then, I focus on activities that bring me closer to my goals instead of the usual TV, web surfing, reading news, etc.

I saw The Secret 2 months ago. It blew me away! I began applying the "attitude of gratitude" concept and immediately saw a great improvement in my relationships with others (especially with my wife) and my general mood.

Basically, whatever book I read or CD I listen to or seminar I attend since I was first introduced to PD last year just improves my life in general and gives me tools and ideas to reach my goals.

I'll be attending the Power Within conference in Montreal in April. Anthony Robbins and Bill Clinton are the keynote speakers. I can't wait to see the benefits that days will have on me!
