Default How much have you invested in your life?

How much money have you invested in personal development products?

And if you would care to tell what books you have bought, seminars you've attended etc. What was the first material you bought and after that?

I'm quite fresh in PD so I haven't really started burning those dollar bills yet

At least $30,000, actually I always forget to count the last year, including my coach training so it is more like 40 or 50.

But it has made me hundreds of thousands in return, and I love my life compared to before I started on this path.

hope that helps

Oops just saw the poll lol.

I have close to 1000 books back in Australia, but most of them I bought second hand for a couple of bucks each when I used to be 'poor'. My best friend and I drove all over central Victoria (Australia) and cleaned out every second hand books store of all the good books we could find.

Now I tend to go for the bigger ticket items. If only to motivate me to use what I learned.

A better question might be how much time have we spent?

I'm kinda new to personal growth myself, about 4 months. I'm currently taking some courses they cost about $50 a month, and I've been buying, and reading 3 new books a month. Time wise I part aside 1hour a day (not always easy with 3 kids ) but important to do.

$5,000 on seminars
$2500 on Coaching training
$1000 on classes that were fun and yet added to my PD
$2000 on books, tapes, DVD related to this

years.....hmmmm, since Junior High. My mom told a group of people last week that I was the child that kept a notebook on my yearly goals, my monthly goals, weekly and daily goals. Somehow I don't remember that, but yeah, I was in Jr High in the 70's

I've only bought two or three books on PD; I've probably spent a few thousand on books on other subjects in the interest of PD. Like Joseph Campell books.

90% of the stuff I have learned I have done for free, with the best personal development tool, my mofuxin LIBRARY CARD.

I have however spent some money on my personal development.

160 dollars on the Holosync Awakening Prologue

A friend of mine and I are splitting a Rich Dad seminar. I think Cashflow is a brilliant game and am looking forward to it. $250

So less than 500 bucks, however I am attending a ChiRunning Seminar in June, and I am buying a membership to the gym down the street. So maybe a grand in a year. Not bad.

Let me shoot back a question. How many collage graduates do you know who dont have a job/hate their job and spent well over 1000 dollars a year? Well, I spent 30,000 grand on college and am feeling about even right now. Sure, I was a different person then, and would probably get much more out of college now, but still, theres a heavy context you seem to be losing out on. Making a poll doesnt mean jack ************, honestly. The amount of money to content-ness ratio is going to be subjective. Someone could hate PD and have spent nothing, or a million dollars. I cant find anything better to invest in than myself.
