I did a search and could not really find a good answer for this so I thought maybe someone could help me out. I have been doing the Sedona Method for the last year with pretty good results. I just started doing the Silva Method just to see if it may work better, or complement the SM. Both of their seminars are coming up in the next month. I would like to take both, but can only take one. It will be a while before they are offered again close to me. So I am at a loss as to which one to take. Has anyone studied both and has one of them worked better for you? Thanks |

Yes, I have done both the Silva and Sedona Methods. When listening to the Silva tapes the alpha sound actually bothered me. I could never exactly focus or really get into it, meanwhile the Sedona Method actually helps me calm down whenever I need anything. Has anyone else been bothered by the Silva alpha sound? I like the Sedona Method better simply, because it works and Silva never stopped bugging me. |

You're being pushed out of your comfort zone which is a good thing. That's how you learn and grow. Most people don't understand that and choose the path of least resistance thinking it's the right path (it often is not). @tgo - What are your goals for going to one of the seminars? If you've been using the Sedona method for a year, why do you feel the need to go to a seminar? It's hard to help you without knowing your desires for participating in these seminars and why after a year of practicing the Sedona method you feel it's necessary to go to a seminar.

Billionaire Kid, Well, the reason that I was wanting to go to a seminar is that sometimes I can release, and it really seems to work. Other times I do alot of releasing and it just seems like you are stuck and nothing is happening. I thought going to a seminar and hitting it hard for 3 days with others may really help me learn some new stuff, or learn to do it better. I guess when you are doing it by yourself you are not sure if you are doing it correctly or not. I have gotten the release technique to work well on small issues, but I have not yet on bigger ones. That is why I was looking for some help. Thanks. |

I have only used the Silva method, so I can't really compare. I must say that I've had some good results with it. I wasn't bothered by the alpha sound at all. But maybe that differs from person to person. I would definitely recommend it. |

Every thought, memory, emotion, ect is made of energy. When you go to the source you seem to have a lot better results in my experience. Tapping has helped me release a lot of old baggage and the best part is that I was able to learn it for free. There's actually a tapping world summit going on right now for free. Do a google search or I can link you to it if needed. Again, I would highly recommend this (I'm participating in the summit myself). There's an introduction to tapping you can listen to and then if you get to the page before 8 pm est, you can listen to day two of the summit before day three audios are uploaded tonight. I would recommend you learn the basics (which are very easy to learn) and then apply them right away. It’s important to get some experience with the process so that you can feel the power of it yourself. And then you’ll be able to really benefit from the summit as I have.

I'm glad you like it. I find that the real value of a summit like this comes from hearing experienced practioners giving their accumulated wisdom while I pick it apart and figure out what is and what is not applicable for me. They give me ideas about how to use something like meridian tapping and from that I gain insight into more experimental ideas (as well as applicable practices I can use on the spot). I've uncovered a lot of things I want to work on with meridian tapping and it's only day 3. We still have 6 more days of information to receive. |
