Default Ever feel like you keep making the same mistakes?

I have been trying to improve in a lot of ways for the past few years, but it feels like I haven't gotten far. Is that how personal development is? You make a change but it happens so gradually you don't even notice?? I cant say my procrastination has really gotten better. I HAVE learned how to draw pretty well but its not going to do me any good if I cant work all the time.

This last semester I made a huge stride and lost it somehow.. I could work for 8-9 hours straight when I needed to and feel excited about my work but finals and winter break hit me and filtered it out of me somehow. I have no idea how that happened. Been trying all winter break to get that edge back but its not the same.

I guess I backtracked a little.Does anyone have tips or ideas to keep yourself from backtracking?

The hardest person to pursuade in the world is our own brain. But you need to get on your schedule and for that I would recommend just dragging yourself from your seat everyday. You may not be in the right mindset to work, but still go and start doing whatever you are supposed to do. Once you get into the zone, you will automatically find yourself on the right track
