Tim Ferris weaves his learning process in an A&E show he produced called "Trial by Fire." It did not get picked up however there a TON of hints on how to go about shortening your learning curve and doing things unknown to you very very fast.

The Trial by Fire series seems to be more of a thing for Tim's devoted followers. I'm sure he uploaded it because of all the requests for when Trial by Fire was pulled off the air. I'll bet him and KR weren't even thinking about the keywords. :P
