Anyone read the "Law of Success" by Napoleon Hill? Is it any good? I'm asking because I don't want to read a 1,000+ page book if it's not worth it If you don't know what I'm talking about then here's the Amazon page and here's the book itself in full (the copyright's expired so...). |

Rock, With that attitude I don't think there is any reason to read it. Books are about what you get out of them, not what someone else got out of them. I don't think you measure the value of a book by the number of pages...or the type size or the size of the book. You can only measure it by what you get out of it. Go to the bookstore or library, sit and read the book for 20 minutes or so. If you haven't gotten something out of it or feel like there is something to be gained by reading more, don't buy and your dilemma is resolved. |

The Book is amazing. after i had read it i was more intune with succeeding. Like it says in the inserts its kind of hard to read the law of success and not be more capable of succeeding in any walk of life. And also i was told that napoleon hill wrote the law of success before think and grow rich The real reason is why not read it? |

Thanks for the link And they've done a study where they found 8% of the text on any given page holds the meaning of the entire page. So really, it's 8% of the book that holds the keys. They other 92% is just filler (regardless of the author's conscious intentions). (Those numbers might be skewed. I learned this from Paul Scheele a while back so I could be a little off) |
