Lately I've developed a big interest in attracting abundance. Okay, I've been interested before, but recently it's felt like it's come together so much that it's time to act on it. And since money is always interesting, it's the natural choice for my first dive into this field. From Monday, December 7th to Tuesday, January 5th, I will be visualizing a new reality three times a day - once when I get up, once during the day, and once before I go to bed. Each session will go for 20 minutes. As usual, I'll update the thread each day, then finish it off with an overall conclusion, and any results that have happened. |

Sounds good- mind if I join in? I won't post my progress but I'll see if any similarities occur in what you experience. I'm gonna follow some advice Angela gave and change my perspective on LOA to give it a fair go. You can never have too much financial abundance! I'll watch this thread with interest and thanks for commiting to it. |

Hi Matt, Try not to limit yourself at all. By saying you will visualise a new reality 3 times per day you have already set yourself some limits. First of all its not a "new reality", visualise your abundant financial life - do you see the difference? A New Reality indicates something in the future and thus steps between here and there and thus still out of grasp for the time being. When you are attracting you must come from a place of already having, so words like "new", "future", "intended" set people up for failure before they commence. I found that just KNOWING is the best way to attract. So in any interaction whatever the time of day just KNOW that you have this amazing limitless life brimming with financial abundance. When you DO have financial abundance you just act differently, you don't bother so much with the small stuff and you certainly don't worry or stress out about $. That's the place you need to be in in order to attract, otherwise this bountiful Universe could just give you more of what you are asking for which is some beautiful visions of a future 3 times per day. Be careful what you wish for is SO true! That's why the right affirmations can be so pwerful as you can say them all day long until they penetrate into your subconscious which is where creation takes place. I used "wow, my financial abundant life brings me so much joy and bliss!"....Now I'm coming from a place of immense abundance in so many areas not just financial. |

Mmmm, I'm just following Steve's base advice for this run. I already did it once today, visualizing it happening to me right now, with all the details of how that reality would work intact. (I was feeling a lot more positive and emotional when I was writing out how that reality would go, but I'm not sure if rewriting that every day would produce the same effect.) I'm making sure I do it three times a day so I've got some order into the affair - I don't think I could just do it whenever and have it be particularly effective. I want to set the habit so I keep doing it on a consistent, regular basis.

I'm striving to have the most enjoyable present moment possible, with some degrees of success. I do enjoy my work, after all. Day 1! An interesting start. Though I still felt sleepy in the morning when I did this, it felt like I did a better job. In the afternoon, my mind just kept drifting. I focused a lot on possessions, which I do enjoy having, but I also spent some time imagining how I got there with my work. I want to think about that more, though. I like buying things, yes, but I want to be doing good to earn that ability as well. Haven't done the last visualization for the day yet. Gonna try it when I'm in bed and see how that works out. |

| Day 2! Trying to visualize while lying in bed kept me more awake than I had imagined. Strangely enough, I woke up around 7 or so. It might be because I went to bed around 12:00 that night. (If I go to bed around 12:15 or so, then I don't tend to wake up that early.) I think I'll try it again tonight and see if that affects anything. But for last night's visualization and today's two sessions, I became concerned at the lack of energy behind them. Doing some research on the site led me to Steve's articles about polarity. After studying a few of them, I think I'm going to play with a love-centered polarity for the rest of the trial, as it feels like the more desirable polarity to me. As such, I'll be visualizing in terms of contributing and helping others, and seeing how it goes. I'm still reading some of the material, so I hope to hone this affair as it goes on. |

Wow. This sounds a lot like the first days of my visualization trial too. More of a focus on contribution, testing different things out, clarity, etc. Keep going with it. I'd like to see what happens |

Day 3! Okay, not going to visualize in bed anymore. Doesn't really work. But now with my focus on outflowing energy, I've been visualizing things where people are being entertaining and expressing to me how informative and funny I am, and how they feel really good about it. I'm liking it so far. I feel more positive when I think of these images. Not BURSTING with energy, per se, but I do feel good when I think about them, so I'm going to keep doing those. | |

| Day 4! Was really tired last night, so I didn't do my third visualization of the day. SarahJaynee, you're right - these requirements of mine may not be working, but for different reasons :V It's another form of that tight scheduling I'm trying to avoid. Maybe I would have been better off doing visualization when I had a spare moment, at least once a day? Anyway, something very interesting happened today. Before I began focusing on outward flowing polarity for my visualizations, I was imagining possessions I would have with my financial abundance. Since I collect Transformers, I imagined my shelves were full of them, including a particular version of Optimus Prime from the recent Transformers movie. Now, today was my birthday, and I got some neat stuff, but when we were driving home from a restaurant, Mom said I could pick up something at Wal-Mart, up to 30 bucks. Wouldn't you know it, but there was exactly ONE Optimus Prime left, which was 35. Mom covered 30 and my sister covered the rest, and now, Prime is sitting on my shelf in the position I imagined he would be in my visualization. Since this came WAY out of left field, I think those earlier visualizations came true a bit. Yes, I could've bought Prime at any time, thus making it come true, but I'm saving a lot of my money right now. And now events have unfolded to land him in my possession. I can't deny that the visualization has worked a lot quicker than I had expected. Still, now that I've stopped focusing on that, I wonder what will happen? I'm not sure, but it's sure to be exciting! |

| Day 5! Tried doing some visualization when I had some spare time during my shopping adventures today. I felt really great, too. Part of it is the season, but I believe part of it is also due to my visualization. I still need to flesh out the details again during a brainstorming session, but it's been pretty good so far. |

| Day 7! Rather than doing a random jumble of scenarios, I find that by visualizing imaginary "days" of this reality, I'm more focused and can create better results. Got some great new ideas to act on, so it'll be interesting to see how these visualizations unfold in the coming weeks! |
