What is the reason that makes you work harder, be more proactive and less lazy? What gets you excited and enthusiastic?

just trying to make sense of it all. at this particular time in my life i have a lot of "whys" and no answers.

the whys make me question and doubt and search for more answers.

i may never make sense of it...but it is my impetus to get up every day and keep moving forward.

Just the idea that I'm 15, And that I determine the type of life that I have, and that a losers life isn't worth living. Yet one of my priorities, is to keep living, So by consequance... I can't live a losers life.

My main motivation comes from the fact that I have a desire for growth.

I think that all there is constantly changing. If you use your life energy to mastering the present time, in order to be happier and thrive, then you have the energy, excitement and enthusiasm for all.

Helping others grow and showing them that life can be awesome. Knew this for a long time, but never really took steps towards it until this year. I also like making money, I'm not going to lie about that. Making money is awesome and fun when you do not let it control you.

I'm curious why Angela didn't mention freedom. Was that an oversight or not? For many that's like the holy grail for which they strive.

If I'm enjoying what I'm doing, I'll naturally work harder without any other incentive. I have a hard time figuring out what motivates me beyond simply enjoying myself in the present moment.

the cathartic feeling i get from creating and sharing my work and connecting with other brilliant people. the prospect of spending my life doing what i love is too exciting to do aynthing else!

Hi, escapeplan. Freedom is certainly near the top of my values in every context, but it's not really my answer to the question of

....because Freedom is so deeply Who I Am, it doesn't feel like something for me to strive for -- to get me fired up and motivated. Possibly because it is just continually running, firing me up and motivating me at an unconscious level. The other values I listed are my conscious "Movers."

Challenge.

The chance to help others, especially by educating and entertaining them (improving their skills, exposing hypocrisy, helping them make choices, reporting information).

Freedom to work on projects that excite me.

Better quality of life for my family members.
