Default Thougths about Steve's article "understanding human relationships"

You remember me asking for help about by shyness in class? Well: solving is in process... You haven't read Steve's article, "understanding human relationships"? Go ahead; read it. My solution came from an extension of the new paradigm Steve has found.

I call it, the "I/I" paradigm (refering to something I've read in Martin Luther text today). Ok, the "I/I" paradigm is simple. It's like the subjective belief. Steve applied it to relationships, and I think we can apply it to other situations.

Here is how I've applied it to my shyness problem.

Believed facts: I can't participate in class because I'm not a native english speaker. My english is not good and I have an accent (french one). People will mock me up when I talk, because I'm a foreigner...

Application of "I/I" paradigm: I'm treating myself as a foreigner, nobody cares. They are there to learn something from the professor (most ).

First steps to solution: Don't think that I'm a foreigner, make myself confortable in class, think of people as friends I've just made today I've started today. I've asked names around. I've participated in Computer Sciences class. I've answered difficult questions (not difficult for me though )

Thanks a lot Steve, I think I owe you a lot

Last words. I'm still exploring the application of the "I/I" paradigm in other situations.
