Default 30-Day Visualization Trial

Hello everyone! I thought this would be a great place to share my 30-day visualization trial. I got the idea to do this 30-day trial from this article by Steve where he recommends vivid visualizing 20 minutes per day to create a shift in your reality. I explain more about the trial here on my blog. Basically I know visualization can be powerful, but I haven't made it a habit yet and that's what I want to do with this trial.

Sorry for posting it so late. I'm on day 9 now, but I plan to do several more 30-day trials since this one is going so well and next time I'll post in here from day 1. I was wondering whether I could stay with it, but so far it hasn't been a problem at all. Next time I'll probably do something that pushes me more.

So far it's really been great to see. The outside seems to be changing incrementally, but shoot, if I give it another month I wouldn't be surprised if things really started flooding in. I'll be posting updates probably every week here until the 30-day trial is up.

Hey guys. I said I'd check in weekly with this so here goes.

Visualization has been really nice. I want to learn more about it and I definitely want to keep it as a habit. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on books/audio about visualization besides The Secret.

It seems like I've learned waaay more about online 30-day trials than I've learned about visualization. It's a learning process but I definitely want to do more 30-day trials after this one. I'll probably do small ones in the forums exclusively and bigger, lifestyle-altering changes on my blog and the forums. It's kind of weird sharing results about visualization so i'll have to figure that out.

I would love to hear more about the results you are getting and what exactly are your goals. How will you measure whether your trial is successful or not?

Well the original goal was just to make visualization a habit because it was so beneficial for me when I was at a really low point, so if I can keep doing it after the trial I'll consider it a success. I've learned so much from it it's hard for me not to consider it a success already.

I did a lot of visualization specifically for my blog. I wanted to see if visualization would really make an impact on my productivity and traffic/subscribers/money. As far as physical results, daily traffic to my blog has gone up, I've gotten a lot more direction with it, I'm more productive with the blog (marketing - commenting and forums/ creating content daily) , I'm seeing a lot more opportunities to act on, I've overcome some fears (putting my picture up, putting blog up for criticism, writing not-so-great content) and I've made a lot of tweaks to the blog itself that I think has gotten me a lot closer to what I visualize the blog being. Subscribers has increased a little and money is still pretty close to nothing but ad impressions are increasing so that lets me know I probably could optimize them better.

yoooo just checkin in. Visualization is still going great. I feel I'm getting better at it and it's way easier to visualize for 20 minutes straight. Lately I've realized visualization while in motion is easier for me than sitting still inside the house. The intensity is so much higher. If I'm working out, taking a walk, drinking water or eating healthier foods it's easier for me to visualize any health goal I have. If I'm earning money it's easier for me to see and feel myself earning more.

BUT....in order to get that motion, I suppose I'm still doing some unconscious visualizing.

I bought Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain and I want to start it and finish it before the end of the trial.

After this trial is done I plan on doing another 30-day reading trial where I read for an hour a day for 30 days. I'll post it here and on another forum every day and this time I'll start from day 1.

Whew! I'm finished with the trial. I posted the results here. On a sidenote, I don't think I've ever worked that hard on a blog post before.

Basically I decided after this trial that I would definitely make visualization a habit. I'm going to do it for an extra 30 days to lock it in. It's helped me be a lot more productive, overcome some fears, and given me a new reference point for what I can accomplish seeing as it was my first completed 30-day trial. Gotta thank Steve for even giving me the idea.

I felt like the visualization trial was great, but too easy so I want to push it. The next 30-day trial (starting tommorow) will probably push me more than ever as far as creating value and delivering it. There's been support through the way and I've made some new connections with some people on this forum so I want to thank you all for being there.
