Default Can anyone recommend good foreign language intensive courses?

What are recommendable foreign-language intensive courses? (I'm particularly interested in ones that have the immersion-type of thing at the location.)

What language are you looking into?

What do you mean by "immersion type of thing at the location"? Living in a family who doesn't speak any language known to you, and watches television with you when you return after 8 hours of classes in small groups? Teachers who don't speak your language? Coursemates who don't speak English?

Not sure, but for now probably Spanish. Maybe Arabic or Chinese instead, though.

I'm not looking to live with a family or anything like that.

The eight hours of classes in small groups would fit the description, and living in the nation in question would be preferable (accomplishing two things with one action; both learning the language and traveling abroad).

Looking impressive on a resume also would be good, so prestige wouldn't a bad thing either.

I hate to be discouraging, but without so much as a preference for one language or another, what makes you think you have the motivation required to learn to communicate in another language?

Because I've done it before, in some cases even studying on my own.

If you're asking me whether I have a specific career plan specifically involving a given region, or if there is some place that holds my interest for other reasons, then the answer is currently no (though there had been in the past).
