No, this is not some pirated materials thing. I just liked the alliteration This is a productivity question for you in relation to InfoCrack, defined in Fullcrum's Dictionary of the English Language as "shizzle you simply CANNOT stop learning about, often to the detriment of taking action or doing important things." For some people, it could be motivational self-help books. Science is definitely my InfoCrack. You can sometimes find me procrastinating homework at 11:00 PM because I was reading a wikipedia article on Vitamin B-12 or flipping open the chemistry book to the page on the fundamental strong force, or reading on the implications of paradoxes caused by the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Despite learning a hell of a lot of cool information and keeping my brain sharp, InfoCrack results in the unfortunate result of getting NOTHING DONE! So my question to you is: What is YOUR InfoCrack? |

Science, weird ideas (weird science), anything about the mind, anything very well written On a sorta-related note, today I saw a mainstream science magazine that came with 5 grams of a legal drug, cacaoine (that's what they called it in dutch), i'll be reading more about that tonight! Edit: Most google results actually lead back to that issue of that magazine. It was probably something some cocoa bean extract :P (demi-edit: Yup) (It was a silly attempt at striking interest, and the issue explains that dark chocolate is good for you. Or something. Which we already knew.) Last edited by funnyav; 09-12-2009 at 06:05 PM. |

Definitely psychology research. I find people and how we interact fascinating. Personality tests, desires, anything. I love data analysis too. This article caught my attention this morning - funny, and well researched =) Online Dating Advice: Optimum Message Length « OkTrends |
