Cool Life Does Not Need to Be Difficult

It's, uh, my new motto: it replaces "only dweebenheimers pay attention," and the series of white-supremacy slogans I sported for the sake of irony. I've been trying to think of easy ways to make a living for myself, and found the process unfulfilling. After a spell, I noticed that the key point was that I wanted to avoid strife in general; and helping others acheive the same goal seemed like a nicer pursuit. I must thank Pav'-boy for the tip of thinking in regards to service rather than in regards to acquisition.

Well, that's the jist of it. Life doesn't need to be arduous or any such tripe as that: it can be boring, if you're into Zen-stuff, though. I'm now going to pursue various bits of whatever-the-hell 'til something sticks, all with the idea of making life easier for all involved and observing. Have a nice day, tip your waitress, and follow a common squirrel on Twitter.

Pshaw, what are you, some kind of hippie? A bowl of rusty nails for breakfast builds character! Why, I'll stab myself every couple of hours just because it hurts so good! If you're not suffering, you're not alive!

And that's why I've bled to death. Would you be a dear and call an ambulance? I need to figure out how to get back into my body...

Default Easy time?

Don't aim for life to be 'Hard' or 'Easy' - aim for it to be enjoyable! That way how long things take are irrelevant.

I prefer that, actually. Sometimes I only really feel alive when I'm dealing with something nearly insurmountable and I come out on top.

Funny, I also come out on top when I stop resisting the outcome!

Paradoxically, embracing conflict doesn't have to be a matter of resisting the outcome, especially when it's what you want. Getting rid of what would foil you is how you surmount the insurmountable.
