After having gone from getting up at 1 o'clock in the afternoon to getting up at 9, I realize that my end-goal is to wake at 7 AM. I feel like I won't be able to pull it off without having some help. If only it is that I know you are watching. I know you've seen a dozen of these and yeah it's lame and all, but hey, that's why I will only post the first 5 days. After that it shouldn't be so hard anymore. Thank you for reading this and please leave a message of support and/or tips. Oh and btw, there is no room for compromise here. I've seen threads of these were ppl will say; "Ahh only 30 minutes to late this time, well try even more tomorrow.." NONE OF THAT, NO COMPROMISE. I'm quite the renown lazy boy so this should prove pretty difficult to me. This community already helped me quit smoking, this should be a walk in the park. Hey Smartass- Good luck with your plan...I think as long as you get the hours you need in,the realignment will happen naturally. I could not foresee the problems experienced until I ceased my challenge... I succeeded in getting up early and exercising-the crappy part is the going -to-bed early part Tom |

7.00 on the alarm clock, and I got out of bed. And guess what? It wasn't all that difficult. It's weird being awake at this time of the day though. My parents and everyone are all still in bed. The sun gives of a funny light.. Anyways, when I started this challenge I agreed on the thought that the first night would be hardest. And if that's so, it's all going to work out fine. Also, over the last month or so I developed a morning routine. And with it I also developed the ability to get up when the alarm goes. For lazy boys like myself I thinks that's a very good way to handle this problem. First you will have to be comfortable with getting up when the alarm goes, and then you should start worrying at what time you would like to get up. I wish you best of luck on your upcoming challenge martn. (P.S. after reading about your challenge. I thought you may want to reconsider if focusing on only 1 or a few things at once might be better for you. You know, to actually get the things done. Of course if you believe to be able to handle it, GO FOR IT!) | |

Its nice to go about your business in peace, isn't it? Just because you slept til 1 doesn't automatically make you lazy-its what you do when you're uprght that counts, right? If you accomplish what YOU want, your 'renown' as a 'lazy boy' is misplaced...regardless of any time shifting. |
