I read the article and loved it, i'd thought i was the only one who couldn't manage to wake up early even after I've grown up and all.....I'm surely going to give this method a try....but the question is : what happens when you don't hear the alarm go off? Seems like a hoeless situation right, specially if your spouse cannot hear it too...and we have perfect hearing otherwise....maybe we are mentally conditioned to snooze it off in our minds so we can't hear the noise, even though we make sure to buy the loudest alarms in the shop. It's really embarrassing when others around the house knock and tell us to shut off the alarm cause its WAKING THEM UP! Sleeping late is killing my self-respect, keeping me from important comitments and getting the best from life still just can't seem to get enough sleep even though i would give my right arm to beable to wake up early. Any more suggestions?

Are you getting enough sleep? If you are chronically underslept, that could be making it harder to wake up to your alarm. I always wake up from an alarm because I am a light sleeper and very sensitive to noise (unfortunately). Nevertheless, I find this helps me wake up more gently and naturally *before*my regular alarm: Dawn Simulators - Light Therapy Products The trick is that the light stimulates your brain into coming gradually awake, rather than your alarm jolting you out of the wrong part of your sleep cycle. I find that I am considerably more awake for the first few hours of my day if I wake up using this. Good luck! |
