I am a semi-professional poker player and I find that I have difficulty making decisions in real time in live tournaments. Sometimes I make ridiculously bad decisions in situations which should be completely automatic. This only happens when I'm playing live. When I play online I make the correct decisions. I'm interested in improving my thinking and ability to make the correct decisions under pressure in live situations. I stress that these decisions are *not* complicated. They are simple, straightforward decisions, decisions that I consider to be trivial. But I keep making incorrect decisions on a regular basis. It is almost as if I'm purposely sabotaging myself (although I do not know if this is the actual cause, so I'm not interested in primarily focusing on self-sabotage literature). Does anyone know of any books, audio courses, material, etc. that would help? |
