Hello everyone, Its been 1 year as a member of this forum and I have to admit that I haven't applied what I have learned fully in to my life yet(I think I have become one of those self help junkies that steve described). I even tried a 30 day challenge before, but failed miserably in it by not taking the required actions everyday. So I decided to do start out a 7 day challenge first and see if I can make any improvements. The reason I do this 7 day challenge is that my semester(theory) exams have finished and my college has announced 7 days holiday.So I am completely free from any college related work. So here's my 7 day challenge tasks: 1. Finish reading two books fully. (You know, I just spend my reading time reading one chapter from one book and losing interest it and taking another book and doing the same).(2 chapters in one day) [And the books are Beyond Positive thinking & Shell Programming] 2.I read somewhere that reading one sentence and applying it to your life is 100 times much better than reading a whole book and not applying it.So I will try to do at least one action each day that will help me in getting the results I want. 3.Since I don't talk with people too much, my voice is not supple.So I will practice those Voice exercises from vocal power program to improve my voice.(1 hour) 4.Learn any useful things regarding study skills each day(and yes, practicing it)(1 hour) And I will definitely post my updates everyday. | Day1 7/7/09 Task 1: Yes! Read two chapters from both the books successfully. Task 2: yes. Did applied what I have learnt from these books by seeing the truth about myself (applying the principle from chapter 2) and for the second book, I created some simple programs by using the worked out examples) Task 3: Yes. I also did the Vocal training exercises for 1 and half hours. Task 4: Read the basics of how to mindmap and used the principles by creating a simple mindmap using the concept '' Internet'' Last edited by machoman; 07-07-2009 at 04:43 PM. |
