Arrow list 3 things that you could do that would make you far more effective

these have to be concrete things, nothing airy and fancy like "I could get more self descipline" thats far too general..

1. I could shut off the computer when I don't need to use it, my god that would triple my productivity
2. I could stop staying up till 3AM and then getting up at 12PM because I feel crappy and unproductive the rest of the day, instead I could sleep from 11 to 7AM
3. I could get my work out of the way before playtime (do work in the morning to midafternoon, have the day off)

think hard and list yours

& then see if you can implement them for 30 days

when you do, make 3 more & see where that takes you

good luck!,
A.D.

1) I, too, could turn off the computer when I need to get something done (that doesn't involve the computer)
2) Get up early, so I could get to school early and get work done that can only done there (because once I'm out of class I have to run to work)
3) Stop allowing my friends to "help" me with school projects. It would be great if helping didn't ALWAYS end up "I don't feel like lets do something else"

1. I could check email only once or twice a day, as opposed to 243 times.
2. I could establish a daily routine of tasks that MUST get done.
3. I could have a set "end of workday" time so I don't waste my evenings.

1. I could get up earlier in the morning BEFORE 7
2. I could eat better - too many sweets always make me feel lethargic and unable to work.
3. I could shower as soon as I get up to prevent me going back to bed.

1. I could start doing all my homework.
2. I could set a fixed daily routine to be more productive.
3. I could shut off my pc when I don't have to do anything on it, too.

1. Get up at at a fixed time (7 or 7.30).

2. Write things down and then do them

3. Really relax when I have time set aside for being off. Not thinking about work when I do not need would clear my mind.

Oddly enough I posted a wee thread on here last week about the last page of the internet and said we could all go and do something more productive...

Someone replied that the last page of the internet could be found at variuos other locations....(I knew this already, bu he couldn't see the irony on what I was trying to say, in that we need to step away from our computer and get other things done.

Anyway, here are my 3 things.

I will start to get up at 6:00 and have a quiet thinking hour to myself.
I will go for daily walks and appreciate more things around me.
I will switch of my laptop and put it away instead of leaving it on my desk, so that I don't check my emails (or this forum...enjoyable though it is) every 10 minutes.

Cool idea for a thread.

1. Get rid of my cable. I'm very adaptable so even though I spend a great deal of time at home using the internet and watching movies, those habits would easily be replaced by more productive ones. Seriously, I pay money to stay home? LOL. (This would also work if I just stopped doing it so much.)

2. Help and be with other people more. I've noticed that I'm more productive in my own ventures when I've already spent a lot of time with other people. After come home I'm just not as distracted by all the pointless little things that usually distract from doing real work.

3. Find some time every day to meditate or something like that.

1.Plan the following day before you go to bed/leave the ofice (know exactly what needs to happen when you wake up/get to office)

2. Identify most important thing to do, start it immediately and do it until it's done completely.

3. Remove all distractions before you even start
