Default My summer trials

I have now planned what I'm going to try and achieve this summer. My goals are:

1. Gain a better stamina and become stronger.
2. Having better habits regarding eating.
3. Develop programming skills and computer-related skills.
4. Have fun during summer.

In depth:

1.

Stamina: I'm going to run around in my neighboorhood twice a day. My first sessions will be short and easy (5 minutes at moderate speed) since my stamina isn't very good at the moment, and I don't wanna push myself unmotivated. I will slowly increase this, and I should listen to music while I'm running.

Strength: I will sign up at the GYM and start out like that.

Why: Because I want to get more fit and burn some calories. I'm bordering between overweight and normal (this has definitely something to do with genes in my case, especially since I (my mother's side) suffer from reactive hypoglycemia (body produces way too much insuline when eating much carbohydrates where the result is low blood sugar. This makes you store fat easier for some reason).

2.

Better eating habits: Today, my diet is somewhat messy. It consists of too much carbohydrates (the Norwegian standards generally do). I wish to try and eat less bright bread and more salads (since fruits are very high in carbohydrates i shouldn't eat too much of them since they will trigger low blood sugar, although it's not that bad with me (yet)). Candy and soda are getting restricted to weekends. I will allow myself to have the pleasure on special occations and on the beach.

Why: To become healthier and slimmer.

3.

Programming: I'm going to continue with my book on the C-language and work every day to learn more and improve. This is the same with other things which probably are graphics as in 3D-modelling, photoshopping etc.

Why: To "farm" my culture.

4.

Having fun: This one is pretty obvious, I should give myself the pleasure of enjoying life while keeping track of my other goals.

Why: So obvious I'm not going to bother stating why.

Any constructive thoughts regarding this are highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Fredrik
