Default Awakening Prologue

I sent away for a free Centerpointe Holosync CD, and it came with some materials about the program. I was wondering if anyone has used it and what they think. It's hard for me to resist, because they have a 1-year money back guarantee, and thats really backing up your product. The demo was nice, I definitely got quite deeply relaxed, and even got on the verge of zen. Deeper than paraliminals take you, for sure. It's not too expensive either.

Anyone have good/bad experiences with Centerpointe?

Thumbs up

Sounds like you've already made your decision...

I switched to Holosync (from my own BWgen soundtracks) in November 06, and haven't looked back. Absolutely fantastic experiences from Awakening Prologue, both in meditation and out. In the two-and-a-bit months I've been doing this meditation, I've recorded huge changes in myself, all for the better.

Also the followup materials (a book by Bill Harris, extra CDs for concentration and problem-solving) and the support is great.

Private message me if you'd like specific details (I don't want to soud too much like a commercial here!). It really is an awakening...

I did the first couple levels of holosync (counting awakening prologue there are 13, costing over 2 grand in total, with all but the intro level being customized in order to make people more likely to buy their own copy new instead of sharing or getting a used copy). Mercola used to promote it on his site, then he started recommending the Insight and Focus CDs which go for about $50 or so, with no other levels to be bought. You're unlikely to go wrong with any of the above, it just depends on how you want to spend your money. I'd be more apt to go for the Insight CD if anything, and spend a bit of the money left over on a Cellerciser trampoline, and then a Vitamix

Well, what did you think of the first few levels of Holosync? Can you link my to the Insight CD? What did you like about the Insight CD as opposed to the Awakening Prologue?

A Vitamix is definitely on my wish list.

I've been a Holosync user for several years now. I used it religiously for the first year or so that I had it -- and then some "misery monsters" came into my life and I set it aside for a few years. I went back to it a little over a year ago and, I too, have never looked back. I'm on the 3rd level now. As for the concept of graduated levels, it works. As you go deeper into the Solution, the deeper your level of meditation goes.

I agree that it is more expensive than some of the others. I can say that I did use one other binaural product before Holosync, and I couldn't stand to listen to it -- the tone waves were extremely distracting. (I wish I could remember the name of that one -- but it's gone from my memory -- sorry.)

I use Holosync every day -- and I feel that daily use does make a positive difference.

hth ...

Shanti,

Ron

If you can routinely listen for at least an hour per day with eyes closed, and upgrading every 6 to 12 months for about $300 (or a bit less if you buy multiple levels at a time) is no problem, then you may be quite happy with holosync. Their marketing kind of bothered me, particularly their "lowest price ever" sales that happened at least once a year with essentially the same prices each time (while it was made to sound like prices would never be that low again).

But the newsletter was interesting when I made the time to read it. Also I felt their "custom levels" were more of a business tactic than a benefit to the consumer, making the last 12 levels of the program specifically fit each person with audio recorded in that person's voice so that sharing the CDs wouldn't be so much of an option.

I like the Insight CD right now because I can play it for 24 minutes and get most of the effect, or let it continue for a bit over an hour if I wish/have the time. It claims to have multiple beats implanted, so that one continues to grow for years to come with the same CD. We'll see.

Though Mercola claims it is at least as effective as the holosync setup, he admits to having done only Awakening Prologue, so he can't really compare the single level Insight CD to the 13 level centerpointe program in any way other than price, and if holosync levels 3 and 4, for example, provide benefits that Insight could never hope to, then the extra money may be worth it.

For now, I say both have their uses. I stopped using holosync a few years ago when it started producing stress more than peace of mind. With something that promotes serious change, I suppose that's to be expected. I called the hotline and they recommended I take a break. I did, and never really started back, and have only recently been using the Insight track regularly.

I decided to try it. A one year guarantee is pretty ballsy, and if it fails, I can try the insight CD that openeyes suggested witht hat refund. Personally, I really liked the demo of it.

Yeah, try it for the whole year! If you do it every day, I don't think you'll be disappointed...

And if you are disappointed - get your money back!

I just bought it myself a couple weeks ago and got it a couple days ago. I have to say, i cant wait to try it. I fell in love with holosync because of the Paraliminals and wanted to try stuff from the company who made them.

My Awakening Prologue came yesterday (a surprise because USPS didnt deliver, but it came UPS, much later than normal), and I did the first session this morning.

My iPod might be broken which is kind of a let down cause I wanted to sit in the living room to listen, not at the computer (I dont even own a CD player any longer 0.0 )

You probably know this already but, I thought I'd put it out there:

when transferring the CD to iTunes to listen on your iPod, make sure you do it uncompressed (ie, WAV or AIFF only). Otherwise you remove some of the Holosync.

(same goes for any Paraliminals with H/S in them)

Happy Holosyncing!

Awesome!

If you're interested, and haven't checked it out already, there's a great forum with some experienced H/S users all sharing their experiences and giving support etc.

Actually, FLAC compresses losslessly to half the size of a WAV. Save space and still get CD quality audio

True, but would I be correct in saying you can't play FLAC on an iPod without some "tinkering"??

Yes, you need to have rockbox installed on the iPod. I personally use other players which have native FLAC support.

Are AIFF's and WAV's essentially the same or is one superior to another?

AIFF = Created by Apple
WAV = Created by Microsoft

Both are uncompressed PCM Audio, and both work on either system.

Not only to keep notes about insights I gained, but also because most people I ask about it, give me the general gist of things and that is it. No real details (though I am not sure what details I wanted). So I am going to try and be a thorough as possible.

Changing myself

Plus this may be a good jumping off point on my own PD blog (more for reviewing things I think, and a journal type thing, then giving advice, methinks)

While I am not going through amazing changes yet, I do want to say that the amount of material they send you in the Prologue almost makes the program woth the money itself. While Bill Harris tends to repeat himself a lot, which is understandable in a developed program, I do like the lmultiple ways of going about it. What I mean is while a good portion of the programs ideas are in the book, the CDs, and the Letters, it just means you can absorb it the way you prefer. Me, I am reading all of it, because I want to get my moneys worth.

I have had some issues arise, and some good feelings, you can check out my blog posted above, which is like my perpetual "holosync in review"

One thing I like is the fact that since I paid for it, I WILL set aside an hour a day for meditation. I copied the CDs to give to one of my friends, and he used it once and never even listened to the intro. M
