Default Starting over, Need advice for goal setting on plane

Hi all,

I'm completely starting over in my life. I'm moving to a completely new place where no one knows me and I'll be completely starting over with everything.

My flight is on Tuesday night, and its a very long flight, plus I have an 8 hour stay at the airport between the flights. I've heard in Anthony Robbin's tapes that during his trip to Russia, he wrote down all his goals for every part of his life, as well as made plans for their achievement. I want to do the same thing on this flight, so I can be motivated as well as have a plan to follow when I arrive in the new place. But exactly what sort of goals I should make, and what I should write in the plans, is what escapes me right now.

Any thoughts?

Only you know what you want. Make those your goals.

Do some deep thinking and try to focus on what you REALLY want, and not what you think you should want.

Thanks. I know what I want, what I'd like to know is specifically how to set the goals/make the plans and what to write in the plans.

What I would do is, I would try to get into that state where I'm only thinking of my basic core desires, and get rid of most of the current distractions at the time, if you know what I mean.

Sometimes you really want something, but it's only an in-the-moment type of want, and in reality you only want it because it is part of something bigger that you desire.

\\About your goals, I'm not really sure on how to help you about that. All I can say is not to stress too much about making goals, just pick one and focus on that.

I would suggest first you should make goals for settling in, like maybe explore your new place a little and meet some new people?

Well, actually I have some more specific goals I want to achieve in the next year.

- Creating and launching a product i've been wanting to build
- And physical/fitness goals

What I want advice/opinions on, is how to plot a plan to go from where I am to where I want to go. Like a roadmap. But I'm not sure what such a roadmap/plan should contain..

If there are any goal setting exercises I could do, those would also be helpful.
