Great video Simona! I don't want to turn this into a compliment you thread, but you have beautiful hair!

Also, the about audio on your site doesn't seem to work for me.

Thank you

I am not sure why it does not work, there is a link you can copy and paste directly to mp3. It should work with any default player that you have. Here it is:

Thats a great video Simona, and great advice. Thanks!

By the way, can I ask how you built up your website to have 150-180 visitors per day? maybe you should make a video about that? :-)

Thanks for the tip, Simona. I'll definitely try it once I get some kind of statistics on my blog (it's fairly new).

Maybe I will

I think this is because I post articles on a regular basis, I try as much as possible to provide value to readers and I always try to improve my website (the newest update is the chat feature, the one before was a community tool).

Try to make your site exciting so that the visitors would stick and tell others about your site.

Don't be like anyone else, try to speak from your own experience.

And never give up, even if you don't see growth in your visitor numbers. There are so many that give up, and you have to get past that initial freeze to enjoy the full benefits, if you know what I mean.

You can actually take this too far and reach the point where you get on all sorts of PR people's lists, and you're receiving new stuff every week you don't even want... and it can lead to a lot more spam and follow-up emails as well. So be careful what you ask for.

Sometimes the price of a freebie is too high.

How to get any book for free: go to the library! Just kidding.

Great information. I don't have a blog or anything so I can't really use it, but if I ever become famous by accident, I will definitely gobble up all the free books I can get.

Thanks. That's very useful advice too. It can be quite easy to get discouraged! Can I ask, how long in your experience, does it take to get up to those kinds of numbers(150-120 per day)? 1 year? Longer?

I started getting such numbers in 4 months but I know that sometimes it takes even a year or even longer to start getting such figures.

But sometimes it is possible to get even more visitors in less time, like that girl that Steve Pavlina recently interviewed.

So it just depends, the single rule is not to give up and you will get there anyway.

I'm a bookseller so not sure I am very happy about your video. HAHA! No, it's OK really.

Even I am giving free books at my bookshop. Yup. I have a "free books" basket where people can deposit books that they considered life changing. I invite people to leave a note inside the book so others know why that person recommends it, how it helped their lives, etc.

I just started this a couple of days ago, so let's see how this works out.

Agreed.

It's not like books are all that expensive either.

And I have a much simpler theory on how to get books for free:

Get a library card.

What an amazing idea! It is very likely that your bookshop will bring in many new customers because of such great idea.
