Default 12 days challenge

I am 30 year old and bankrupt on all levels on life. Physical level, Mental,
Career, Emotional.... I am at the lowest point in my life. I want to start new life.

I tried 30 days trials and in each trial I failed after 10 days.

It's very hard for me to complete 30 days challenge so I have decided to
Complete 12 days trial first then I will go for 30 days challenge.

Challenge is:

#1. Daily wake up at 4:30 AM.

#2. Daily Running, Yoga, Gym.

#3. Daily prayers, imaginations and write results in my diary.

#4. Daily 30 min. meditation.

#5. Daily read Bible.

#6. Daily Subconscious mind programming thru auto suggestions, affirmations.

#7.Gain my self confidence and self respect back. NO MATTER WHAT.

#8. Not to afraid of anything NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

#9. Self Control. Do not listen to urges and distractions of mind.

#10. Read everything about success in life. Make LIFE PLAN for the rest of my life.

I have certainly been there, but am slowly making progress towards a better life. I am sure you will succeed as well. Drive!

Good luck with your challenge! And don't let the red light at the end of your road stop you.

Your challange sounds to me practically impossible, i dont mean to be negative, but im not suprised you fail. For a start its very extreme..( I am also extreme so I know how you feel) Seriously.... lets look at some of these, take no 7...thats not going to just happen like that in 12 days, thats a gentle process of retraining your mind..all the "NO MATTER WHAT HAPPPENS" is very harsh. Its very difficult to retrain the brain. no8. not to afriad of anything...wow ive been striving at this for 32 years again this is also a gentle process that takes time. Same with no 9. As for no. 10 this is very unspecific...theres no way you can read everything about success in life, you dont have enough time...and a plan for the rest of your life!? How about reading one book and making a plan for the next month to start off with. Then you could go for a year plan and maybe a 5 year plan and so forth...gentle step by steps. As for goal 1 -6 well go for it, but 4.30am...wow, good luck if you can do all this but again it sounds a little extreme..how about gym 3 or 4 times a week and running on the other days? Your daily routine should be a pleasure not boot camp! Anyway sorry if i sound negative and good on you for wanting to sort out your life and make it great, but be kind to yourself with gentle baby steps you can take daily, slowly and surely you will improve in all areas.

If you want to reach 10 dont aim for 20 and hope you get somewhere on the way aim for 2, then 3, then 4 and gently work your way to your goals.

all the best whatever you decide :-)

Whoa!...Man, I admire your resolve, and good on ya if you manage to complete this, but I think it's a bad idea to start here. If you're out of shape and just starting to jog, you don't commit to a marathon, you build up your strength slowly. If you aren't that self-disciplined, you don't commit to sudden and extreme changes, you start with introducing one good habit and go on from there if you feel comfortable.

An excellent challenge to start with is waking up at maybe 6:00 in the morning everyday (Do soldiers even get up at 4:30?) and setting something productive to do with the extra time you give.

Now, I'm not against sudden and extreme changes per se, I'm a man of them myself, but it sounds like you should start slow or you're just building yourself up to be disappointed.

Once again, there is every chance that you will complete this trial and succeed, but just don't feel too bad if you don't, and start slower the next time. I know what it's like to fall and fall hard. I can fail at something and then be miserable for months afterwards before I get up enough courage and motivation to try again, but then again, sometimes you just have to tell yourself that yes, you failed, but you're get right back on that horse and beat the hell out of it..... (And that's why metaphors don't always work!)

You could also try 2 goals per day, instead of the 10 goals per day for 30 days. Once you are consistent of performing 2 goals for 30 days without quitting, then you add another 2 goals for each day (making it 4 goals/day) for another 30 days.

Sometimes, slow is more efficient. It's not very efficient going fast and out of control Only go fast when you can control it, but first take it slow

You're not racing with anyone and life is not a race.... well, personal development is not a race

Default Thank you friends.

I agree with you all. My main intention was to break my shell thru intense work but it doesnt work well. Life is easy when it is taken inch by inch rather than yard by yard. I accept this truth.

I failed in my life upto now because of I didn't took right action at the right time.
I have good talent. I have good memory, skills, understanding.. My friend who is less talented than me now works in Microsoft. (I taught this guy how to do programming!! ) and here I am who is still searching for a job.

I am really a good person but it's lack of persistence, self discipline and unable to make right decisions when it mattered most, I failed in my life. It's a height of stupidity. I think I was in coma for last 5 to 6 years. And a sudden awakening after that many years makes me very frustrating.

Enough is enough. I am going to take charge of my life again and I will never repeat same mistakes again.

-----

I am going to change this challenge to 30 days challenge with following very specific and easy to follow goals.

#1. Wake up at 4:45 am daily.
#2. Prayers and Imaginations 5 to 10 min. each.
#3. Meditation for 15 to 20 min. daily
#4. Daily exercise. [Running/ Yoga/ Gym]
#5. Read following books: (My reading speed and comprehension is good.)
1) Personal development for smart people
2) Think and grow rich
3) Science of Getting Rich
4) The Magic Of Thinking Big
5) Man's Search for Meaning -Viktor E. Frankl.

Thank you for all replies.

I am really resolve to change my life by 180 degree.

I can tell you essense of life I have learned so far...

(1) For the ignorant, failure is unhappiness,
For the wise, failure is next step to success

(2) God is overjoyed when He sees that man has full faith in Him despite being
burdened with lots of trials.

(3) Keep faith in your faith. You can move mountains with that faith.

(4) To change the condition of your life change the direction (towards goals)

(5) It does not matter how old you are and how much you have seen the world ; what matters is how many lessons of life you remember.

God bless...
