| Introduction Several years ago (!) I bought the Personal Power program. I started listening to it, but my procrastination got the better of me so I put it in a cupboard and didn't follow through. A few weeks ago I decided to re-start. I listened so far to 3 days of the 30 days program in the last 2 weeks, so again it's not working for me. Yet I intend to do it, and so I decided to make you my witness. No more excuses now OK so this is what I did up to now.
The program lasts 6 weeks (30 days of five days / week) and I intend to write in this topic per day in the program if I did it and some of the results. The first 3 days I will post today. This challenge will end at June 28. Feel free to comment, or keep me sharp if you notice I'm slacking. Wish me strength! |

Thanks, people! Day 1: I've decided to start this challenge, and to start a diary to record my 30 days experiences and results. Result: I did it, and it feels great. I feel power and energy! I also experience nervousness by publishing the challenge ('o my, now I really can't escape...') but also excitement!!! Also I applied for a challenging job. On to day 2! |

Day 2: I've set some goals for today, of which one is completed and 3 left to do. I feel energy and power, but also stress: will I be able to complete my assignments? I've added days 1, 2 and 3 to my diary. Now on with completing it and reporting back to here. Go go go! |

So I had 4 actions to take on Day 2. I did exactly one of them (and that felt good!). The other three I postponed as my domain name was transferred today to my new provider, and I wanted to rehaul all the internal links, set up Analytics etc etc so I gave that higher priority. I finished that new task and it feels pretty good, even though I didn't finish the 3 remaining tasks. I'll finish the 3 remaining tasks before I play the Day 4 CD tomorrow. To be continued! |

Finished the 3 remaining tasks of Day 2! Feels gooooooood LOL. Day 3: I've noted some empowering and dis-empowering beliefs about myself. Especially the latter category is quite shocking! So now I continue with the Day 4 CD. I'm on track! More later today! |

Tony is really brilliant in explaining how things work - I'm getting lots of insights. Some I heard before, in other ways; other things are new. I'm not telling what's in the program BTW. It would spoil the experience for people who want to do it themselves too. His enthusiasm is so stimulating, I can't help but just do the assignments because he asks so nicely I've updated my diary and did the Day 4 assignments too! It feels great to be on track!!! I also notice that putting up a challenge like this is actually working great for me. It may well become my favourite tool to keep myself sharp. Tomorrow Day 5! |

Today was the day of experimenting and experiencing what Tony called 'states': emotionally, mentally and physically. A fun day, playing the CD and really going 100% in the exercises! The weekend is meant to listen to some subliminal and empowering 'meditative' CDs that are also in the package. Sounds good, so far. |

In the weekend I played the subliminal CDs. One is high energy, to stimulate power and action; the other one is quiet, relaxing, to stimulate self-confidence, health and energy. The high energy one is energetic indeed. Musically it's not my taste, but it's not bad. It does make me move my feet (tapping, swinging when I'm sitting). The quiet one really relaxes me. Apart from that, I don't seem to notice much effect yet from both CDs. Doesn't matter, just keep playing it. Today Day 6: the power of focus. I've realized that often it's not me who decides what to focus on. Tony gave some easy but powerful exercises. I love the way he explains things. Sometimes it's so easy, I wonder why I didn't think of it myself. I'm so glad I started this challenge, and am proud of doing it now! |

Thanks Angela! Day 7: I did half of the assignments. Partly because they were a lot today, partly because I'm not yet clear (still in discovery about my values and beliefs - man what a can of worms I opened here!). Will finish the assignments tomorrow early before listening to Day 8. So far I am noticing effects, and sometimes I go to a place of: 'I am not doing enough'. Fortunately Tony says that it is a lot of material every day - just do the assignments as best you can, and don't be too hard on yourself, which is certainly a pitfall for me. Thanks, Tony Good things I get out of it: becoming more aware of unconscious limiting beliefs and slowly opening myself up to the power I feel that's present in me too. That is so exciting! |

Hi Hero! Something I found useful is to repeat the daily tape a few times during that particular day. It makes your brain go into the right motivating direction more fluently. Like a natural (unconscious)response. Like a lot of us, I will be watching you too! |

Thanks Peek! Will try that tip! I've more or less finished - quite a list of beliefs I've found! Also I have more clarity on my values and their priorities. I'll keep on discovering more on this, I feel it's a kind of open assignment. On to the Day 8 CD now. |

Wow! What an experience... This day was about changing some limiting beliefs into empowering beliefs and oh my Buddha! what an exercise Tony pulled me through! My energy level is way up, I really see new possibilities I didn't see before! Amazing... |

A relatively short CD to prepare for tomorrow's CD. It's wonderful how inspiring Tony is on every CD. For myself, I notice that I fall back to old patterns, and that I can forgive myself quickly for that. And then practice my new patterns. That in itself is already big for me, I used to be very self-critical. What also helps (and Tony recommends) is doing the assignments immediately after listening the day CD. Works great for me! For people who want to do this program: it'll cost you 1-2 hours every day. Most CDs so far are 30-40 minutes, and you need time for your assignments too. I've blocked out 2 hours in my calendar until the end of the program. |

So, I finally did it, the Day 10 CD. Was scheduled for last Friday Oh well, I nerded a bit and then I stopped, forgave myself and moved on. So Day 10. A key turning point I think in the program. Got lost of inspiration out of it, and energy and I wrote down some verrrry challenging goals. Oh my... Exciting and scary! I've decided not to overtake myself because of the lost days. Just take it one day at a time. Also I did some extra work on my blog. I'm pretty proud how it's turning out! Last edited by spirit4711; 06-02-2009 at 09:32 PM. Reason: Bl**dy typos... |

There's a massive amount of material! I'm impressed with the quality, and feel a bit overwhelmed by all of it. Will re-listen to it more times. I've discovered some major ways how I sabotage myself - and how to change that. It's so inspiring! Also working on the goals I've declared for myself - and some are BIG!!! I am noticing much more by behaviour and patterns, and interrupting negative patterns as I get conscious of them. Not always (and that's OK), but many more times than before (and that is so cool!!!). |

I really like these subliminal things. You can just listen to them while you work. The relaxing one really does make me feel quietly confident. I like. Just listening the action one right now. | |

Yeah, the more I hear them (or not, unconsciously LOL) the more I like the music. Not sure it is the CD but I do experience more self confidence, and for longer periods. Today was another CD loaded with info. Not really hard to understand, but it does send my mind spinning. Did the assignments, pretty funny actually. |
