Innovator -

* Energetic and creative taking inspiration from everyone they meet
* Enjoy flexible work environments with few rules and many opportunities for fun
* Think of themselves as imaginative, sociable and sympathetic
* May not think logically about their ideas

This is such a poor description of me that I'd have to say that either the test is flawed, or I, being a foreign language speaker, misunderstood some questions.

My result was Counsellor.

Summary of Counsellors
-Search for meaning in their life and develop powerful insights
-Are dedicated to helping others reach their potential
-Think of themselves as gentle, peaceable and cautious
-Others may find it difficult to get to know them

It's a fairly accurate summary, although I almost chose different answers in several places, which would have given different results.

That test is lame. I think the Meyers-Briggs is much better. On that I'm an INTP.

The test says that it's not the M-B equivalent but come on, it is.
I am ENFJ, used to be ISFP(1.5years ago).

It says I am a resolver:

* Good at getting to the heart of a problem and quickly finding a solution
* Make rational decisions using the facts available
* Think of themselves as understanding, stable and easy-going
* May focus on short-term results and lose sight of the big picture

I agree with some of the above traits, while others I have serious problems with. For example, I do not like making hasty decisions, and don't necessarily focus on short-term results. Some questions, I could have given multiple answers for such as (for example) 'thinking about what I say' vs 'use hand gestures and facial expressions' because I do both. I'm part Italian, so it must be in my genome to wave my arms about like a conductor while I talk. However, I am not a chatterbox by any means, and I do tend to deliberate over what I say before doing so. As far 'as describing the picture' goes, that was a strange one. Much of it was too small to see in detail on my 17" monitor, so I couldn't make up a storyline or see how anything related. I would say quite a few people would just make a list of what they saw. I don't trust IQ or personality tests because most are only two-dimentional and can only measure certain traits, and then only in the grossest sense.

Summary of Strategists

* Quiet, easy-going and intellectually curious
* Use logical, objective thinking to find original solutions to problems
* Think of themselves as bright, logical and individualistic
* May be impractical, forgetting practical issues, such as paying bills or doing the shopping.

There was interesting quote in the little description afterwards;

"Strategists are the group most likely to say they are unhappy in their job, according to a UK survey."

Default Not so clear

According to the BBC questionnaire, I'm an Innovator. I agree with John Wesley though. The questions are rather slanted and answers predictable. On Meyers Briggs, I lean more toward ENTP. Frankly, rigid categories don't usually make sense to me. I don't think everyone is so easily pigeon-holed.

I'm a Go Getter.

Summary of Go-Getters
Inventive, resourceful problem solvers with a love of life
Can be tough-minded when necessary
Think of themselves as enthusiastic, determined and alert
May become frustrated by rules and routines

I agree with the last line "who makes the rules"?

Big Thinker. Basically, an ENTP according to this test.

I always come out as some kind of NT, but it's hard to tell for sure because my E/I and J/P are very close.
