How about running in a local park instead of down the gym? Then you won't have a TV infront of you to distract you. Also there are so many more benefits from running outside.

To JMonkey: I run outside too. However, I prefer running on the treadmill because it allows/forces me to work harder compared to running outside. For example: I can switch between 11 mph to 4 mph and maintain it at those speeds for a certain duration. If I run outside I have no idea how fast I'm going and also, I have difficulties maintaining a steady speed. I like the option of being able to see how many calories I'm burning. For me, running outside is fun only if I'm with someone.

What I accomplished:
-Media clean. I'm done! Back to being a bum now. Just kidding! My next new challenge will compliment the self-control that I've developed as a result of doing the media fast challenge. To be continued...
