Oh that's so interesting that you're quitting without having heard of it. In the book the author (who tries to quit) can't make it past 2 weeks I believe. He said it was too painful. I can't imagine what this pain was like, but I found it shocking that he couldn't do it.

I'm not sure if I feel much better by not smoking... I guess I do because I no longer feel guilty about it. But then again, was I feeling guilty because it was really bad or because I was conditioned to feel guilty? I don't know. I do know that my boyfriend didn't like the smell, so he should be happier. And his happiness increases my happiness, so yes I suppose I feel better. After the few days of withdrawal it became easy.

I have done it and know people who have done it, it works wonders. You get a lot done and are more confident/aggressive. I heard once that Joseph Stalin would masturbate and not climax to give him his edge. However who knows if that is actually true.

I think quitting all forms of masturbation is really bad.
Why do you think we have the built-in desire of sexual activity? Because we need it, it's good for healt and it's good for the mind.

What makes it bad, in the case of men, is the ejaculating phase. Ejaculating is so demanding to our body! Picture this, each time we come, it might be to fertilize a woman, thus creating a child. Now biologically, our body has to give all it got to make sure your child is strong and healthy. That means each time you're having sexual stimulation and you ejaculate, your body is solicited incredibly, that's why men are often sleepy and not energized after ejaculation.

Now what can you do?
There is a way of separating ejaculation from orgasm, so you get all the benefits of the pleasure without giving all of your energy. These practices come from taoists and consist of working out the pubococcygeal muscle, an internal muscle that controls urine flow and, with practice, stop your semen from quitting your body. You'll get multiple orgasms if you want, and feel so energized in your life.

jowee has nail it

I've quit masturbationsa lot of times, and for periods much longer than 30 days. I've never felt an "urge" or so... I just did it when i was in the mood, like playing guitar or so...

But now I see it's not the best option. If you do it often and do it the multiorgasmic way, then it's good for you, you feel yourself with more energy and clarity, though at the beginning you can feel a little strange.
