Reading - The Attraction Code

Comments: I know that I'm suppose to read about gentleman stuff but I had the urge to reread this book. Actually, me and my buddy had a study session about attraction. It was really interesting. Reading the book made me realize a lot of things about myself. I thought I moved on from seeking validation from others already, but I guess I haven't yet. Daym! I still got a long way to go to being a gentleman. P'z

Reading - The Modern Gentleman/ The Attraction Code

Pages: 10/ 23

Comments: I read "The Modern Gentleman" during my lunch break and "The Attraction Code" when I got home. I wish the authors could have written "The Modern Gentleman" in simple English then it would have been easier to read. However, I do admire how they talk in the book. I'm very thankful that they wrote the book in that style. Because I've started to incorportate big words in my vocabulary and I've received positive responses from it. P'z

Comments: I'm so driven to finish reading this book. I know my direction in learning about the ways of being a gentleman might seem lost at the moment because I'm reading a different book, but I can assure myself that its not. Reading this book is beneficial for me to get to that path because this book is showing me a new way of looking at myself and others. I'm starting to remember stuff and learning new ones aswell. Reviewing my mindset using the perspective of the book, I look at girls as trophies. Its hard for me to swallow but its true for the time being, and I thought I was a good person. Its an immature mindset but I'll try the best way that I can to evolve this paradigm to a more positive and compassionate one. P'z

Reading - The Attraction Code

Comments: I'm hook to this book. I want to print it so I can do some highlighting because there is so much good stuff. I'm going to have to reread it again maybe next week. I have to give it some time to sink in because it contains some pretty deep messages. I haven't finished it yet but it would most likely be finish by tomorrow.

This is the final day for my gentleman challenge. However, I was kind of all over the place so I'm still going to continue on with this challenge. Nevertheless, heres what I've developed:
-Drastically reduced my spontaneous perveted attacks (dirty talk)
-Increased my random chivalrous acts (offering my seat to strangers guys or girls on the bus, carrying peoples's groceries/bags, asking about peoples's day, and etc...)
-Reduced my swearing count
-Improved the flexibility of my conversational skills
-Reduced my guilty feelings
-Brought my sense of shame back

I still got tons of work to do so this is not the end of this challenge. I think I might either just continue posting on this thread or I might start a new one. This time I'll make it way longer because I feel like this is a very critical skill for me to develop. For now, I'm only pursuing this skill for superficial purposes but I'm confident that my intentions will evolve to include things that are more meaningful later on. I'll just take my time on this one. P'z
