Default personal effectiveness

I am very keen on increasing my personal effectiveness and life a meaningful and purposful life.. however my husband is comepltely the opposite. he does what i tell him but he himself is not interested not does get involved in any such thing...

the result of this kind of an environment is i actually donthave a healthy company to share my aspirations, my trials, my experiences etc...
if i talk about any such things like concious living, self-discipline or anything like that my husband is a very passive listener and on some occasions he says all i am talking or thinking is fantasy !!!

last night we were just listing our dreams for life and then cae down to our aspirations for the necxt 5 yrs or so .. he had various things like places to travel, monitory success etc ... but when i asked him if he has any goals related to personal development or growth he said he does not have and does not even intend to have one .. he says he is ok with however it is in the present situation

the big downside is he is very very disorganised, overly procrastinating, very poor planning and time management skills ...

i am concerned because most of my time goes in setting right things for him, thinking on his behalf as well and above all i am also concerned about how our children will get impacted to see two very very differnt type of parents !!! also i sometimes feel very sad that i cannot share my most precious awareness/growth experiences with the most important person of my life...

how can this situation be handled ...

I had a husband like that. Eventually we got divorced. I am wondering what would happen if you stopped spending most of your time looking after his personal development issues. Maybe he has no personal development goals because he figures that as long as you're doing all this for him, he has no need to do any of it for himself.
I think what will happen if your children see two very different types of parents is that it will become much clearer to them which path they want to take for themselves. I doubt that your children really expect both of you to think the same as each other all the time. And I think you'll find that your kids will still love both their parents no matter what they think (it happened with mine when my ex-husband announced he was homosexual)
Maybe for right now you will just need to accept that you can't share your experiences and ideas with him, and just find someone else that you trust that you can share them with. He needs to choose his own path, you can't choose it for him.
If the worst came to the worst, I have read that when people are faced with a choice of leaving their spouse or practising personal development, almost nobody has ever regretted choosing their own personal development.
