Default 30 Day Challenge-Meditation

Hi all, I feel very disconnected with myself lately, although I have been very happy, I feel I need something deeper than my own happiness. Also, I've been on and off on my meditations not really dedicated but I want to start up again. So I am going to do an hour a day meditation for 30 days and I'll keep posted on this thread. Hopefully, I can strengthen my communication with my higher self, develop greater inner strength, develop my self-discipline muscles, and find clarity in my life.

I am using Hieu Doan's Meditation Mastery.

I am going to start right after I post this.

Thanks, support, encouragement, and words of wisdom are welcomed.

Sounds like you'll gain a lot from this long and frequent meditation. Hope it goes well for you.

Hi hlu89,

Hope your 30 days challenge go well. I am thinking about going through a 30 days challenge on meditation too.

Cheers

Good luck with your trial. I have just started my first 30 day trail of being an early riser and one of the things I'd like to do with my extra time is learn to meditate. Right now I'm going to try to meditate later in the morning when I'm more awake but when I have established a routine of getting up early I will try to make meditation a part of my morning routine.

day 3 success!
day 4 success!
day 5 success!
day 6 success!

I've been focusing on objective observation of feeling these sensations as they are without any reaction, I am having trouble feeling "blank spots". However I am able to find focus in my navel chakra. I am progressing but it's very gradual and slow. I am focusing on observation, focus, and depth right now to build tools for communication. Hopefully in a few days, I plan to work on my communication with my higher self and actually receive responses however small or subtle.

So far so good, I also hope to meditate everyday after this trial.

and I plan to implement another 20 minute practice of esoteric warrior to release energetic blocks and tension when time permits.

Any tips from vipassana practitioners or of meditation mastery?

Don't you think an hour of meditation every day is too long? I don't think this is such a good idea because you may awaken kundalini energy too fast and suffer a lot. You should always remember to pace yourself, it is very important in meditation.

You can only practice longer meditation with the supervision of spiritual teacher who can help you when you experience something unknown.

You should spend maximum 20 mins twice per day meditating, not longer than that.

Hi Simona, I don't think it is long at all. I still think I need to up my meditation time lol. I have been meditating for more than a year mostly everyday for an hour and haven't had experienced any of these symptoms of awakening kundalini energy too fast. The program esoteric warrior I am starting to work with talks about this too. Here is a snippet:

Quote:
The most forceful method involves pushing and storing energies and breath through the kundalini channels
However this method, because it uses forces, can bring levels of communication which are unable to be integrated and so levels of consciousness can be left damaged and unstable by the interaction
Not only does this not result in fluid and effective understanding, it also slows down spiritual growth and evolution
It must always be remembered that true understanding must be practical
It must allow you to use the knowledge, information, and energy that is connected too
Forceful types of spiritual communication are not required
Yesterday, something strange happened in my meditations though. I was meditating on the frequency of humility to open up myself to more knowledge. Then, some pressure started to form at the top of my head and then right after I smelled a strong puff of incense. I don't know what this means, it happened to be a couple of times already when I'm really deep in my meditations.
