I just wanted to quickly say how Journaling helped me see through my patterns and get a clear idea about where I want to go. I was pretty confused and hazy about some major issues in my life right now. But journaling about it has cleared it. Part of what I like about journaling is how you layout all your ideas and then get a bird's eyeview of all while in normal thinking, you can only do linearly one or two at a time. Steve earlier wrote about this. Its great... hope you guys try it if you haven't already. |

Yea, I used to have to feel like I was talking to someone, so I would "journal" with my friends or on my old blog. Later, I just sorta pretended I was talking to myself in the future or something, so much easier to do it privately. I do still have to sorta pretend I'm talking to someone for some reason. Anyhoo, yea, I love it. It's great. Glad you found it useful. I keep hearing that writing = thinking and if you write, you can think. |

keeping a journal is one of the most important habits I have. I developed the habit at 14. It was my first year away at boarding school and I needed a way to release all the emotions I was feeling in my new environment. I would not have survived without it! Nowadays, I use it more as a manifestation tool. I can't stress enough how powerful it is! I have been truly baffled reading some of my old journals and seeing how many of my desires have materialized (losing 20 pounds, getting the computer I wanted, hanging out with famous musicians that I admire!), some of them in a matter of days. Now I've got it down to a system. I just write about what I want. Unlike Steve and Erin, I keep my journals on paper. Writing by hand forces me to think harder about what I write. Since I'm manifesting, that's important. My journals are also works of art and really beautiful to look at. I love using fancy inks and nice paper, drawing, collaging, and pasting in concert tickets and mementos. In addition to reading how much I have changed in the seven years I've kept a journal, I can also look at how my handwriting and creative sense has changed as well. They're personal, full of spirit, and wonderful to have around. |

Been doing it nearly 20 years with a few breaks here and there..one of the best tools for growth I have due to the fact I can read back on what I wrote all those years ago.. RIght now I am reading my journal from 1994 um yeah... bit frightning but entertaining anyway.Keep it up.G
