Yes!

Here's two questions I've recently learned to ask myself when I'm in emotional pain, and don't know what to do.

1) What is the gift in this pain?

2) What is the lesson behind this pain?

Those two questions have led to great results and breakthroughs in my mindset!

The classic ones:

How can I learn from this?

How can I find a way to do this no matter what?

What's the hidden purpose in this event?

And my faviourite one

How can I create an article about it?

Great! I have read that article too and it puts us into one mindset which is very optimistic in nature.

Here are the questions that came to my mind right after I read the article.
1.) How could I make the person I like to like me back?
2.) How could I become a rich guy?
and why I'm good at this and that.

It's cool knowing that you have a lot of great things in life and that you are browsing through options that will make you the way you want your life to be.

Have an Empowering Life everyone!

Your list is wonderful, and it serves as a good reminder that out outlook does matter.

May I suggest adding some to "Disempowering Questions" list, concerning a bad outlook on the world in general? (i.e. people who tend to blame a bad world or other people, not just blame flaws in themselves)

Why is the world such a horrible place?
Why are people so cruel?
How come there is so much suffering in the world?
Why is there so much misfortune?
Why is life so unfair?
Why is my boss (or professor or authority figure) so unfair?
This task is stupid. Why do they make us do this?
Why is work (or school or other endeavor) so pointless and stupid? Why can't they make it easier / more fun?
How can I be expected to do this when I have {insert excuse here} ?
Why am I always the victim?
Why did my mother (father, family member) do __ to me? It's because of that I have these problems.
Why is the weather here always so terrible? Why is it always too cold (or hot or raining) for me to go outside and exercise?
Why am I so sick all the time? How can I be expected to do __ when I am tired or hurt.

Hehe thanks

Rose of Cairo already owns the copyright to the "What is the gift of this pain" as I first heard her use it and thus got the idea for these two specific questions from her. .
