Arrow the best way of tracking time?

how could you tack the distraction and time waste? what is the best way when distracted either innerly or from outside to come back in to the flow?

An interesting question. Staying on-track is a most important aspect of ultimately achieveing your goals - especially the really big ones.

Personally I use a Spreadsheet I developed for this purpose. It keeps track of your use of time based on Stephen Coveys four quadrant model. If you are interested, you can read more about it here ...

I just started using this: AllNetic Working Time Tracker. Overview.
after seeing it on LifeHacker.com. I've been looking for a good time tracking app for a *long* time and I'm pretty pleased with this one.

Arrow i tried the software, but some how did not work

I have also created an excel sheet for tracking the time. that was a good idea to divide the tasks in four categories and track each one separately. I will try that one.
