I've written an article called "Why Make Mistakes, Learn From Someone Else’s Experiences" It's only 3 minutes of reading, but to summarize it, I write about taking knowledge from other people's experiences to your advantage to prevent you from making the same mistakes. Would anyone be interested in sharing a business mistake they've made in the past that we can learn from? |

By learning from others mistake, we can cut short our learning curve and streamline our way to achieve results. That is why books and information are valuable to us as they can help us to learn from mistakes that others had make and not to do it. Cheers Vincent Personal Development Blogger |

Great idea, debating can be very fun! I actually hated the though of debating with someone when I was younger. That all changed as my confidence grew, now I'm always looking to get into one

Another way of looking at mistakes is to see them as a fence that puts you back on the true path to your goal. Seeing other peoples path doesn't tell you why they chose that direction and not really knowing what mistakes they made means that if you follow them you could be setting yourself up for a bigger fall further down the track. There is a technique called 'failing fast' which means you get the experience of failure early on with less invested effort. Just a thought. |

Guy Kawasaki commented on my post just yesterday and let me know he wrote a book about this very thing where he interviewed over a hundred people about the mistakes they made: http://adjix.com/apug AJ Kumar

^^ my law professor always tells us this all the time. Learn from others so that others don't have to learn from you. It's a good saying, and it's a very very very wonderful way to achieve things. ^^ |
