Default How To be Lucky Using 3 Powerful Steps

Lucky Peers

Have you seen people around you and wonder why somehow always they seem to be luckier then you. They seem to always have the lucky break that you desire and they have much more success. So why are they are luckier then you and can we achieve the same amount of luck as them?

Some People Are Luckier

First of all, it is true that some people are luckier than others. It is harder for people who were born in impoverished nation to become rich as compared to people who were born in better countries as it is much easier for them to obtain education and opportunities.

If you are reading this article now, you are considered lucky because you still can enjoy the benefits of the internet and enjoy the vast amount of free content you can find on the web.

How To Improve Our Luck

These 3 attributes can normally be found in lucky people and here is the 3 points.

1.Preparation – They spend great effort in educating themselves so that they can always take action whenever opportunities surfaced. How many times have you missed golden opportunities because you are not prepared to take advantage of the situation? Lucky people avoid this by constantly preparing themselves for their lucky breaks.

2.Network – They hand out name cards, attend events or seminars to meet likeminded people in their industry while the “unlucky” people stayed home to watch TV programs thinking they deserve a break after a hard day work. By working hard to drop their name everywhere and meet new people, the amount of opportunities they will have will increase. It is the Law Of The Seed, the more you seed you sow, the more you reap.

3.Action – If you are prepared but when opportunities are thrown at you and you do not take action, nothing will happen. Things only happen when we take action and lucky people always take action to make things happen. They are already prepared and although there is fear in taking on new challenges, they are not afraid to take the plunge because they know taking action will bring them results.

Parting Words

Stop thinking that your friends or colleagues are lucky with better jobs and flashier cars. You can achieve it too if you are willing to put in the effort to improve your own luck.

Here is a more extensive article that I wrote on improving your luck with 10 simple steps. You can read it for more info

Nice, may i add a fourth?

4. Willingness to try new things. (you don't have to try if you don't want to, you can pay others) -> the important thing here is the knowledge you gain.

Let me add a fifth... Forget about luck. It doesn't exist. Stop trying to improve something intangible and focus on something you can improve like how much money you make or how many blog posts you write per day.

Hi magi133,

Thanks for the added point. By being able to try new things, we are definitely increasing our opportunities in life which in turn lead to better luck.

Hi Prevential,

If we are focusing on something tangible and achieving results, one would definitely feel luckier because of the results he achieved.

Just because you achieved your results doesn't mean you should feel lucky. You should be thankful that you set proper action plans and followed through with them.

Default Luck

I don't believe in luck as per se', however, I most certainly do believe in synchronicity. I've had far too many personal experiences with it and worked with far too many clients who have as well to deny it exists.

To a large degree, luck is when preparation meets opportunity.

Synchronicity is defined as "meaningful coincidence" and as such can certainly cause people to think someone who works with it is luckier than most.

Synchronicity comes from being in a state of action. It is heightened when we feel enthusiastic and positive.

The flow of synchronicity comes on strongest when we walk in faith (and by faith, I mean faith, in God, in the Universe, in yourself, but the absolute belief that there is nothing to fear).

If you begin working to bring synchronicity into your life, you will find that opportunity presents itself in ways you could have never "consciously" orchestrated and you can bring about absolute quantum leaps in your life.

Best!

Default What?! OMG

So all of this stuff means that luck doesn't exists at all?!

... I do think luck exists. Some people just get lucky and have amazingly great health in face of everything else (e.g., smokers who live to be 90 years old). Or some get amazing breaks in their jobs, such as some musicians being discovered vs. other ones who put the same amount of time and energy in practice and networking and still get nowhere. I wonder how you'd create that kind of luck, though?

Hi The Synchronicity Expert,

I had not heard about this before but it does sounds very interesting. Do you mind writing an article to show us more of this subject?

Hi Refocused living,

The amazing breaks you mentioned that the musicians achieved can be a classic case of when opportunities meet preparations. I believe that they had spent countless hours to prepare themselves for the big break and it is possible to improve our luck by being dedicated to something that we want and working hard and smart to achieve it.

You can read this article for the more extensive information on improving our luckBe lucky using 10 simple steps
