Default Thank you for this little nugget...

...of humor!

You made me laugh!

What a great way to start off the year than with a smile and thinking to myself: Yep! Silly me! I have done those things.

Particularly, talking about my goals and not acting on them.

This is not only funny but instructive.

Agreed. Humor can sometimes cut through resistance where other things can't.

Glad to. It was an excellent article. Like a lot of other people I thought the style and the humor helped the points sink in. I plan on printing it out and putting it up.

Thanks Cron,

It is a bit ironic how an article about not achieving goals attracted more goal focused people than many of my articles on setting effective goals! Just goes to show the world sometimes works in mysterious ways.

I hope the article helps you to accomplish that feat.
(Keeping up with the humor aspect.)

It really is a good piece of work. When I first stumbled upon Steve's site I was laughing out loud on how exciting his articles were (namely his polyphasic sleep logs). Slowly, the humor bit was fading as I became more congruent with what he has to say, so this article reminds me not to take personal development too seriously - as in feeling that it's linked to a struggle to attract.

And that fortune favors the creative and contrarian mind that repels conformity.
