| From Nature's point of view, I suspect there's little difference between December 31, 2006 and January 1, 2007. However, I think it's a great step we could take along the path in our lives if we think of it this way: Why do people take New Year's resolution but they (almost) never think of 21st of August's resolution, for example? Steve (and I'm sure most of you, guys) is always saying that each day is as good as new..as New Year's Day. I admit that, along with other "bugs" in my discipline training program, I get low scores at "commitment". And I think I could use a little transparency along the way:a sort of reinforcement (not necessarily lack of self-respect) in sticking with my resolutions, by making them public and be asked for progress from time to time. So, I propose this thread to be used in this way: 1. On December, 29: make a list of 30 issues, as clear and distinct as you could make them. 2. On December, 30: reduce it at 10 most important things ("important but not urgent"). 3. On December, 31: while having a wonderful day, thinking what what you 2007's Self would do in a year, choose 3 of them. Post them here and, from time to time (let's say once a week?), let us know what steps you took along your heart's path. Let me know what you think. Sincerely yours, Monica.
