Default Is Your Genius at Work?

http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/200...enius-at-work/

From Steve's blog, over a year ago. Has anyone read the book he recommended, "Is Your Genius at Work" and found what your particular genius is? Mine is "Freeing Flow." (Steve's was "Optimizing Results.")

Fun book, fun process. It's interesting to see how freeing flow is what lights me on fire in pretty much every area of my life, and how I'm a little disgruntled if I'm not being it. I would love to hear if any of you have given it a go!

I wonder what Erin's genius is?

I bought Is Your Genius at Work? not long ago and have it stashed in my pile of books to read. I have quite a bit of reading I want to do (maybe I should start my PhotoReading Deluxe course that is sitting in my stash doing nothing? heh), but when I deal with it I'll report back with my progress/findings if I feel I can contribute something that hasn't already been covered by someone else.

Each person's genius is unique to that person -- so whatever you come up with will not have been already covered by someone else!

I read the book & did the exercises as I went, but it took some stewing afterwards -- a couple of weeks of trying on various genius options -- before Freeing Flow showed up. I felt a little frustrated during that trying-on time, when nothing was really nailing it for me. But then after watching my thoughts for awhile, I noticed that I routinely messed up my shoe & clothing closets, and that I did it because I so enjoyed organizing them for more flow. Also I noticed I was always introducing people to one another so that information or pleasure might flow between them. Then I saw that my job, which I love, is all about freeing the flow of information and money. After that, Freeing Flow just showed up everywhere, and if it's missing anywhere, now I add it.

I look forward to hearing about your genius.

I have the book and worked through the exercises, but didn't find my "genius" that way. I like the idea, though. I might do the exercises again some time in the future.
