Default I finally figured out how procrastinate a bit less.

I finally figured out how procrastinate a bit less. A main problem I had was giving in to impulsive feelings. I would watch youtube for like 4 hours a day+.
My advice is to improve your imagination, use the visualisation techniques & stuff, but more importantly, simply tell your impulses that this is not where you want to spend your time anymore & they'll eventually go away.

It's kinda hard to tell the difference between impulses & general spontaneity, but they are way different, one procrastinates you & the other builds your creativity\.

I never really come around to the ''technique'' of setting the alarm. Its allright to hang back and do nothing for a while but then one has to wake up again and draw the line. Thanks for this reminder!

I have a question to pose for the board about this topic. I procrastinate a lot. But recently, I've worked through a procrastination workbook and discovered a way out. And, much like the OP said, you ignore your impulsive feelings or at least try to weather them, they eventually go away. What happened to me though was I lost my spontaneity as well. I lost my sense of creativity. I'd like to know if anyone has had experience curbing procrastination but yet still keeping their creativity. In some sense, this could be said to be a left brain vs. right brain discussion or rationality vs. intuition, which ever works.
