 |  Should I stay or should I go?
I'm debating about whether I should move to Memphis to live with a friend, or continue living with my mom an hour outside of DC. DC Area -Faster job market, more openings -Have friends and acquaintances here -My favorite meetup group in the whole world is here -My family is here -My doctor is here -More to do in DC than in Memphis Memphis -I would no longer be living at home with my mom, living with a friend is more respectable -More freedom and privacy -Less competition for jobs -Moving to a new city may give me a motivation boost -I may have access to a healthier lifestyle (there is a nearby school where I could run on the track, etc.) Thanks in advance for your input. |

You've got good options in both areas it seems. I don't know that one is inherently better. But for me, sometimes change is needed to get perspective. If it were me I would try the move. If you don't like it you can always move back. If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got. |

I'd say GO! You'll never know how great it could be til you try. And if it turns out to be not so great, you can come back! I say this as an almost 40 year old that is supporting four kids on my own so I don't have much opportunity at this time to just do something as exciting as up and moving. I'm a trifle envious . . .
