Default Living in apartment lots

Does anyone live in an apartment lot where the isolation is so good that you can't hear the neighbours? Is this reasonably possible?

I am especially sensitive to noise of televisions or radios of neighbours in my house.

Hi MasterD,

Me too, I live in appartment lot. I can hear the nightbours. I can hear when they close their cupboards. My appartment is next the laundry room, so I can hear it too.

I hope that you have good earplug. lol

That life, the life in appartment.

If the buildings were constructed properly, with ICF interior walls for instance, this would not be an issue.

Unfortunately, most developers are only concerned with the bottom line, and only a couple layers of drywall separate most apartment dwellers from their neighbors.

Ok, I am not living in an apartment lot right now, but I am considering moving there, I will check for great isolation though.
