Default Productivity on a Bum Leg

How do you still manage to get things done despite injury?

Yesterday my graceful self tumbled down the stairs and sprained my ankle. Nothing naturally got done. Today it still hurts, limiting my mobility and part of me is having a major mental "I don't wanna do anything" whine session. This cannot stand! So. Should I just exercise willpower to move on with it, or take it easy for a while? What do you do for yourself when this happens to you?

Do you have things to do that can be done more stationary? Scheduling doctor and dentist appointments? Creative work? If I wanted to get things done while dealing with an injury, that's what I'd look for.

Well, I definitely got some writing done, but I balked at the notes I was going to take on a book. Maybe it was my writing position-leaning back in a chair with my leg propped up and a laptop is not comfortable for me. I want to keep it up so I can keep pressure off of it, though.
