You can suffer anything if you feel it is meaningful
I think I read a quote like that, though I can't remember where. I think it's true. If you find you're not motivated to do something hard, then probably the fact is you don't find it meaningful. Probably, fear or denial are holding you back from your real purpose.

I agree with that. You have to know what you feel inside you, when you know it you have to plunges and go for it. You will know when you will find it.
You will have obstacles in your way. You have to find ways to go through, if you want to have success.

I don't think you have to 'suffer' anything. If you are suffering it's a sign something is wrong, that you've got to change something. Yes you've got to work hard & smart, but I don't agree you have to suffer... Petra

Another option is the psychology of Flow. This approach would argue that a lack of motivation means a lack of suitable challenge (producing boredom) or an impossible challenge (producing frustration).
