Question The podcasts I/You wish people would listen..

Namaste

Since the forums kept reminding me "It appears you haven't posted on our forums in several weeks." :-)

I am looking for the best podcasts

Best (sources) so far
1) IT Conversations
2) Venture Voice - podcast on entrepreneurship, venture capital, business
3) Robin Sharma: Success Podcast, Leadership Development, Success Coach, Self Motivation, Inspirational Quotes
and many more at Namaste Netizen > podcast

Best so far is "The Good Life of Helen Nearing" @ SimpleRadio

What is the best you have heard so far ? and what are your best sources ?

Found few more @ Online Websites / Resources

The title inspiration : Creating Passionate Users: The book I wish people would read...

Cheers, Kishore.

ps: dear del.icio.us users: please see Yahoo! Groups - sort-able (rate-able) del.icio.us - do you agree that this feature will help us all find the _best_ links/podcasts more effectively ? - Namaste Netizen is a prototype of this feature and if it is down or very slow - check mokshore's bookmarks tagged with "podcast" on del.icio.us - It looks like I have to change hosts soon

Cool Venture Voice is good

I work for a start-up software company and I listen to Venture Voice often. I also like the podcasts on 43folders.com. Here is a link to a podcast directory I use to find new shows: http://edeo.com

Uncomfortable Questions is very good. Deep, philosophical questions asked of 'ordinary' people (as if there is such a thing). Nice to listen to though. Gets you thinking.

The BBC do a bunch of Radio 4 podcasts, the best being In Our Time, which is about philosophy and history and science and all sorts of interesting stuffs.

Although not technically a podcast, I subscribe to the Charlie Rose show via Audible. The quality of conversation there always amazes me.

Oh, and another favorite of mine, This American Life, is now available as a podcast. Great show, can't recommend it enough

I was just about to ask this question!

I'd love to hear other suggestions from people here. I listen to a lot of tech/entrepreneurship podcasts (the ones mentioned + TalkCrunch, CalacanisCast, Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders and VentureCast) but unfortuately there aren't nearly as many good personal development podcasts. Steve's is about the only I listen to although I'll have to fire up the Sharma one (we sell a lot of his stuff on our site).

Also, as an FYI we're helping Sounds True launch some podcasts soon and they should be killer.

And of course if you're looking for new podcasts then I'd highly recommend to check out our directory. The difference between us and the other directories (iTunes, Odeo, etc.) is that all of our podcasts are focused on learning/growth and we've hand-screened each. So it's a little easier to find good stuff there than to wade through some of the other sites.

Looking forward to hearing others' recommendations!

HunaTrainer.com - Rediscover Ancient Wisdom is my favorite podcast. I started listening in Summer 2005 and have since heard every episode.

I would suggest the 43folders.com podcast. It is mainly about the GTD idea (Dave Allen's Getting Things Done), but he make good and to the point podcasts.

The Ricky Gervais Show. May be one of the funniest things I've ever heard/seen.

Thanks Steve and Pat. Those were two podcasts that I've heard of before but haven't added to the rotation. Will do!

These are great additions you could make to your list.
The Robin Sharma ones are also fabulous.
I look to specific countries outside North America as well.

All the best!
