I've been reading about time and life management, and they speak of creating areas of your life to measure and such. I myself am finding this difficult as I tend to bleed one over into the other. The interrelationship between them all. Like how finances effect emotions and diet, which then effects health. How do you draw the lines between categories, especially when every area of your life you want to change? I'm wanting to do a life overhaul, but I keep being uncertain as where to begin. Which is frustrating.

Hi Straysweeper, I used to get overwhelmed trying to do everything at once. Just pick one area and work on that first. One thing at a time. Work on one thing for 30 days to make that a habit, then move on to the next. Or designate different days for working on different areas eg Monday for finances, Tuesday for health, Wednesday for social life... you get the idea. Basically give your mind a clear focus at any point in time. That's the only way it can function effectively.

Hi straysweeper, I agree with what Daphne said. Just take small steps and change bit by bit. Maybe you have the urge to change everything quickly and do a major overhaul but too doing too much things at a same time can be overwhelming and thus leading to lower productivity. You can take juggling as an example, how do you feel when you juggle 2 balls, 3 balls, 6 balls, 9 balls, or til 18 balls You might want to read this article on baby steps to learn how to make small goals apply actions consistently to achieve success.
