Hello First off, hands down to this site and forum. Really great site and posts. Ive read through alot of the posts and i find it really inspiring to see people accomplish things with there lives. Now its my turn to succeed, and wich better place to ask for advice then right here. Im 22 years old and from europe. English is not my main language so thats why there will be grammar errors here and there Im a professoinal athlete as for now, but im not sure if i want to continue with that. So im in search of my path trough life. Things i want to accomplish - Rank them with numbers starts with 1 as the most important. 1. Work for myself and make my own money. Not work for a company. Ive read and tried affiliate marketing, i recently baught the Suit Build It package and have started the 10 Day thing. Ive been into some affiliate marketing before purchased the suid build it package. But ive only read some books about it etc. never really launched a site or anything. I got inspired to start again after reading the posts from steve. But the problem that occurs both times is getting it all done. This seems to be a big problem of mine. When i started the site build it package and the dive into the affiliate marketing business i loved to read about peoples experience and that they made 10 000$ dollar a month and so on. I got really exited and started to work with this. Brainstormed topics, found my niche but then after all this i just stops. I search around in google and see all this good looking sites wich contains some of my niche content. And i think to myself, im never able to do this and make much money from this. And i just quit without even started because my motivation just drops. This seems to be a big problem of mine, when it comes to affiliate marketing and life in general. I become really exited about a thing and start off with reading etc. but after 50-60% of doing it all, i quit. I think that i will never succeed when i see what the people have done, and im not able to do anything just yet. And im wondering how am i suppose to master all this things and make a site like that wich makes money. Its really frusterating. I just really want that my job should only require internett and a computer. Im really into computer and internett stuff, and i think thats the way to go for the future since its so easy for everyone to use. So affiliate marketing, stocks and finans and other things consists of computer and internett really interest me. But as i said, im never able to fully commit to it and doing it 100%. This is my MAIN goal and the thing that i have to achieve. 2. Learn to speak english as good as my main language. 3. Get the best looking body i possible can get, my fat % level down to 6-8%. Im quite athletic now and around 12 % fat. But im loving the saturdays 4. Travel and meet alot of new people and maybe start to study something at a university? i really want to try living in australia and america. So a university there would be great. 5. Photoreading or the ability to read and study much so i can become really really smart. ive started the photoreading course aswell, but ive read that photoreading doesnt really work? I think this will do for the first round thanx Last edited by dydde; 10-06-2008 at 08:37 AM. |

You are paralyzed by the vision of the end result. You need to give yourself permission to start at the beginning. I built a web site that I'm sure would be intimidating to anyone who wanted to build something similar. But my web site had a beginning and it was nothing like what it is now. All it was at the beginning was a list of events. From there it grew. I never could have started from where it is now. In fact, had I started with it the way it is now, my site would have died because it would have looked like an empty community that nobody wanted to join. A site sometimes needs to grow organically from the beginning. So give yourself permission to start at the beginning and do it. |

That's a pretty big list. I wonder where some of these items came from - are they things you truly want to have/do/be or are they things you think you ought to want? Do you want them, or do you want to want them? It's important that you're making decisions based on what's most important to you, the things that have a personal relevance and mean something to you. If you can make choices that are aligned with those things then you'll be on the right track. As for how you achieve them, it's the same answer as 'How do you eat an elephant?'. One bite at a time. Once you've made your choice do one thing today, then one more thing tomorrow and one more thing the day after that. Looking at something you want to achieve in its entirety can be pretty intimidating and can make you want to turn away in a sudden lack of confidence. By all means connect with what you want to achieve but don't let that be your entire focus. Enjoy where you are right now and go about things with a sense of ease and lightness. You'll be more able to achieve meaningful success if you do that. I could write a whole volume here, but think I'll stop for now! |

Hi dydde, Don't worry about getting traffic or making as much money as others. If you think that is your niche and the other person is writing about it and making good content out of it, don't care about it and just do it. There are tons of good brands out there, yet Nike is one of the top brands in world. What if the owner of Nike think that there are others better sport apparels company out there and decided not to continue manufacturing apparels. The company wouldn't be as great as now I suppose. Every expert start as a novice, just take baby steps towards you success and take action now. You may want to read up on this article"baby steps to success" to inspire and plan your way to achieving what you want. Cheers Vincent Personal Development Blogger
