| Good morning everybody and Happy New Years! Here is what I'm going to accomplish in January. 1. Drop body weight to 185lbs and body fat to 7%. I was bulking up and I'm currently at 189lbs and 12% body fat. 2. Meet 5 new people every day. 3. Go to bed at 10 pm and wake up at 7 am. 4. Make a budget and track my spending 5. Socialize every Friday 6. Read a book every week 7. Practice meditation and relaxation |

I can't remember a single resolution in the past I've ever kept. I figure if I do this one thing, if I have success at this one 30-day trial, that will lay the groundwork for future successes. |

| My January Goals: 1. Start waking up and getting up right when the alarm goes off in the morning (no more snooze!) 2. Meditate for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 at night. 3. Begin eating right. 4. Run for 20 minutes every, or at least 4 times a week. 5. Spend an hour a day in silence (just enjoying "being") 6. Finish rough draft of script. 7. Spend an hour a day practicing guitar. |

| I am doing extremely well right now. I had typed up this very wordy document as to how I was going to live my life. Well, as the fates would have it, it is inaccessible because I cannot use my computer right now. I could do one of two things: Continue the 'trial', or admit to myself that I was going about it wrong and just live each moment the way I feel is best. Today, I woke up at 5:30 AM, went to the gym, have stayed very organized, and have been in class for hours on end. I have enjoyed every moment of it. I've changed my diet, started cooking and stopped eating in the cafeteria, and have almost maintained a healthy weight. I've learned to monitor my mind closely enough to catch negative thoughts, and they are becoming less frequent. So basically, whatever was in that ten page manifesto is of no consequence to me now. |

| I have so much change happening in my life right now. I am excited and a bit uprooted/ unorganized. So anyways, here are the things I will be doing over the next 30days to give myself a sense of structure. 1. Get up every day at the same time. I'll aim for 6:00am 2. Set a reasonable weekly workout routine and stick with it. M- gym: legs T-gym: cycle, arms W- gym: legs; emphasize glutes TH- gym cycle; back/shoulders Fri- off Sat- something fun Sun - something fun 3. Spend 15 minutes in the morning and evening freewriting my goals and dreams. Wish me luck and success!!! |

| Happy New Year Everyone, Although im 10 days behind and ive set my goals for the whole year, i figured i shall give this a try. So my goals for this month would be 1) Wake up at 6.30am and start my day with a healthy breakfast 2) Go for my morning walks (5/7) and stick to my exercise regime in the evening (2/7). 3)Journal everyday before i go to bed. |

| My goals for the year.. (apart from the once mentioned in the initial thread) * Save at least 20% of my income. * Spend more time with my family * Learn a new language- I think I am going to go with French! All the best in achieving your goals. |

| I am 19 years old and have been out of work for nearly 4 years I am up for money making ideas and stuff. I am trying not to let it bother me but I have nothing to talk about with people from my peer group except TV and other trivial issues such as the weather. Even though I live at home it is very demoralizing relying on my parents from financial support. This is the reson why I feel comfortable sitting round from day to day doing nothing if it wasnt for college I wouldnt even get up. Does anyone have any ideas? |

| i too set loads of goals for january, wanting to make a complete change in my life and failed to complete them by the second because i just had too much to do every day! from the 1st i intend to begin a much simpler 30 day trial, something small that will build my self discipline whilst ingraining a better habit does anyone else have new trials planned?
