I know this is personal, but I was wondering if you would share what your "ultimate" goal is. I have put off creating some sort of value list/ life goal list until I can really experience and learn more. I really would like to study philosophy before committing to anything. Anyway, what is your ultimate goal? |

I guess he has a life purpose and uses goal setting because goals give a certain quality to the present moment. Steve's purpose in life is: to live consciously and courageously; to enjoy, increase, and share peace, energy, passion, and wealth; to resonate with love and compassion; to awaken the great spirits within others; and to fully embrace this present moment. So your ultimate goal for the moment should be to study philosophy in depth. Set a deadline by which you need an ultimate goal defined and get busy. If you don't have a deadline, it's easy to get stuck in philosophy. I speak from experience. |

^ Heh, I was just about to say that, too. Philosophy (learned and taught properly) is, in short, a mindbender. Unless you've got some concrete stuff to work with, your mind can easily be thrown around like a football. In general though, I've found Steve's philosophy to be very existentialist. Be sure to check out Nondualism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Also read some David Hawkins. I'm giving you the info I would have liked to have two years ago. Enjoy! |

I am one of those people who love and adore ideas. I don't take them on face value, just because someone suggested them. Or just because they are popular. I need to know the "why" before I jump in. And then, when I jump in, I enjoy it because I believe in the idea with a passion and I stand on the underlying foundation of ideas that support it. Going back to studying philosophy... I would suggest that you be very careful about the philosophers you read. They are and were very influential and brilliant people. If you go in their presence, i.e. read with a naive mind, you will be molded into all sorts of strange directions. | |
